A plan for the next 100 years of your life
Rather than asking you to live today as if it was your last day on earth, consider making a plan for the next 100 years.
We both know it is unlikely that we get to live 100 years from today. But think about what will remain of your present actions after you die. This is an effective way to understand:
- that your time on earth is limited
- that your actions today have a long term effect
- that you are indeed going to die in less than a 100 years
It's hard for some to realise how important they are in the chain of events that shape our planet and the lives of others, but once you reflect on how your present experiences have been influenced or are the direct result from other people's actions, you can foresee how important it is to remain aware of your power and to use it constructively.
You have the privilege of planting a seed that will become a tree, to feed the birds living nearby and to help anyone crossing your path. Choose wisely and think about the next 100 years whenever you have the chance.
